Katsumi Sakakura
Katsumi Sakakura is a Japanese artist who expresses through his work the movements, rhythms and spiritual essence unique to traditional Japanese culture. Most notable is “Projection Live” performance which synchronises dance with projected images and have been performed in 42 different countries.
Among them, a particularly great result is that Katsumi served as the opening ceremony for “Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan(Katsumi Sakakura also served as the artistic director for the first two minutes of the opening ceremony, expressing the commonalities between the rugby spirit and Japanese Bushido.)” and "128th International Olympic Committee Congresses in Kuala Lumpur".
He hopes his shows become opportunities for others to learn about Japanese culture as he introduces and spreads the concept of “Japanese cool” through his singular style and original performances.
Eiko
Eiko (born in Kyoto, Japan) started her career as a fitness instructor in 1987 in Kansai. She won the Championship of the Japan Bodybuilding Federation in Kyoto in 1992. She then began her dance career and mastered a wide variety of styles including Hip-hop, Jazz, Locking, Waking and Capoeira. Her various achievements as a dancer include winning the second prize at JAPAN DANCE DELIGHT Vol.2.
In 2019, she performed at the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup 2019 JAPAN.

2007 Performed for 5 days off-Broadway in N.Y.
2008 Performed for a month in Dubai by invitation from the government of Dubai.
2017 Performed for Asian Football Confederation Annual awards 2017.
2018 Performed a our show for 60 minutes at the opening of a new theater in Tokyo Mid Town Hibiya.
Eiko together with Katsumi developed their original dance style as composite art to showcase the unique elements of traditional Japan – “movement, rhythm and spirit”.
She actively promotes their original style “Street Nunchaku” as a new genre of dance performance.
Eiko is also a popular conditioning trainer providing advice on physical beauty and health.
Mami
Mami (born in 1987 in Saitama, Japan) started her dance career at the age of nine as a child street dancer performing Hip-hop, Locking, Punk and Jazz. She entered various dance competitions including TV Tokyo RAVE 2001, and achieved outstanding results.
She started training under Katsumi Sakakura and Eiko when she was 11.
She also took up football at high school.
In 2019, she performed at the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup 2019 JAPAN.

2012 Choreographed for Hatsune Miku’s concert at Tokyo Dome City Hall.
2013 Was appointed as a brand model for ‘andu amet’, an Ethiopian sheep skin fashion brand.
Performed “Projection Live” for the presentation of a new collection for Triumph, an established underwear maker.
2015 Performed and played for a charity event “Art Football” in Russia as a representative of Japan.
2017 Performed for Asian Football Confederation Annual awards 2017.
2018 Performed a our show for 60 minutes at the opening of a new theater in Tokyo Mid Town Hibiya.
Mami performs together with Katsumi and Eiko their original dance style as composite art to showcase the unique elements of traditional Japan – “movement, rhythm and spirit”.
She assists in promoting their original style “Street Nunchaku” as a new genre of dance performance.
Mami is also known as a FTP Mat Pilates Instructor.
Karin Kato
Karin is a contemporary dancer who was born in Canada and grew up in Yokohama in Japan. She graduated from a ballet course of music department at Japan music high school. During her study abroad she had joined researching project Barca ( Artistic director : Henry Daniel ).
Karin joined some projects by Kaeja d'Dance (Toronto),Kwangseok Lee (Korea), Yuri Ng (Hong Kong), Saori Hara, Ryu Suzuki, Tokihiko Sakamoto, Kaori Kagaya and Kimiho Halbert (Japan). She also had an opportunity to perform with Violinist Ikuko Kawai and Masanosuke Okura who is living national treasure of Japan as No-gaku player. Karin is a guest dancer at Natural Dance Theatre for the tour since 2017 to 2020. Her Solo piece “Day Dream” invited to Contemporary Ballet Of Asia in Korea 2019. Karin invited to perform at press conference of Rubik’s cube 40th celebration party in front of princess Takamado by Hungarian embassy Nov 2020.
TATARA ~Focus on similarities~
16 & 17, Oct, 2021, Finally we performed in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Many spectators received our message and they understood the meaning contained deep in it.
What a wonderful experience...
I realized that art can transcends countries, languages and cultures, everything that divides the world.
Our original plan was to perform at the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Tatarstan in August 2020.
However, due to the COVID-19, that honored opportunity moved in October 2021.
We are going to rehearsing towards it day after day...
